Welcome to Bass Anglers Team Trail
Dear Fellow Fishermen,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support during the 2010 season. Between high rivers, tornados, and below freezing temperatures, I was pleased with the participation.
I know that you may not understand why we seem to change our format every year, but we are trying to find what will work to make the trail successful. You have been very supportive, and have given me a lot of great ideas to use. As much as I would like to implement all of the great suggestions I have received, I hope you will understand that it just isn’t possible. I will be making changes to the trail for 2011, and I hope these changes will make the trail better for you. I am trying my best to make Bass Anglers Team Trail the greatest fishing opportunity for you, and myself alike. I am a tournament fisherman, as you may already know, and that is why I started this trail.
As with anything where money is involved, there have been some questions floating around. To try and help answer any of these questions, I have included a financial statement below from the 2010 season. I do not pay 100% back, and I never have claimed to. I hope this financial statement will help everyone understand what kind of expenses I have to incur to make this trail happen.
As for 2011, I will let you know as soon as I get the schedules finalized. I have to wait and see what several other trails are doing first. I can tell you that some changes you will see are lower entry fees, and guaranteed money. I can also tell you we will have 3 divisions, West Alabama, Central Alabama, and East Alabama. Check the website for updates coming soon.
Once again I would like to thank you for your support, and ask you to encourage other fishermen to join us to make Bass Anglers Team Trail the greatest tournament experience on the water. Also remember to thank and support our sponsors, Net Bait, Strikezone Lure Co, Bama Auto Parts, L&L Tile, Parr’s Chevron, Win 98.5 and Chattin’ Outdoors, Big Bite Bait Co, Newton Tire, Lewis Construction, Willingham Sports, South's Finest Meats, M&P Logging, Matt Harrison, Brech Marine, Davis Glass, Robertson Bank, Maison De Fleur, Greg Griggers, Windham Motor Co, Capp's Taxidermy, Lindsey's, McNider Marine, Gold Mine, Red Barn, McGraw Webb, Village Jewelry & Sports, Brooks Chevrolet, Roberts Restaurant, Pepsi Cola, Lane's Tire, Vowell's, Banktrust, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Thomasville Tire, Green Eye Care, and Langley's BP.
